What if the lender denies my loan for reasons other than issues with the home?

As a buyer, it’s your responsibility to ensure that you’re already qualified for a mortgage before entering a mutual contract, and to make sure nothing happens afterwards that would affect securing a mortgage. For this reason, it’s recommended to avoid any major purchases or drops in credit score immediately before and after making an offer on a home. In most cases, if the deal falls apart because a loan was denied the listing is moved back to active on the market.
If your lender denies your loan for any reason other than low appraisal, the Platform Fee is not refundable.
