Why is the inspection done before the listing goes live?

Faira recommends providing the inspection report upfront so buyers have more information and therefore more confidence in the house. When buyers know more, they make better offers.

In a conventional process, sellers may allow an inspection contingency which opens up the risk of renegotiation if defects are revealed. On the other hand, if sellers do not allow an inspection contingency, risk-averse buyers are discouraged from making an offer. Any buyer who is discouraged is a lost opportunity for the seller. Faira’s transparent process leads to more interested buyers, more offers and ultimately a higher price for the seller.
